The first time I heard In My Life by The Beatles, it was this cover version performed by Bette Midler in the movie For The Boys. Ignore the corny bit at the end; if you’ve seen the film, you know this scene ends in tragedy.
I hear this song in my mind at weddings, at anniversaries, at 60th birthdays and at funerals.
